Meet Our Staff
Rev. Justin Westmoreland is the RUF Campus Minister here at UT-Martin. He is a husband, father, church elder, and weekend warrior. Justin grew up in Sherwood, Arkansas, and attended college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Through his involvement with RUF at SMU, he discovered the beautiful ways in which reformed theology summarizes the precious truths of scripture. Post-college, he served two years at a PCA church in Knoxville, TN where he met his wife, Meredith. Justin graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC, and came to be the campus minister at UT-Martin in 2006. Justin loves Arkansas Razorbacks football, spicy foods, and Meredith's chocolate chip cookies. He was once mistaken for a Super Bowl quarterback in a Charlotte post office.
Justin and Meredith were married in June, 2003. Meredith is a native of Montgomery, AL. She attended the University of Montevallo for undergrad and UT-Knoxville for grad school. Meredith is a speech-language pathologist, but is currently taking time off to be a stay-at-home mom to the Westmorelands' two boys Knox (born January '07) and Owen (born June '08). Meredith is a human GPS. If you are ever lost, give her a call.
